POLYPROPYLENE

Polypropylene (PP) – A semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer known for its excellent chemical resistance, low density, and high fatigue strength. It offers good thermal and electrical insulation properties, outstanding resistance to moisture, and is resistant to many acids, alkalis, and organic solvents. PP is easy to process and weld, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. PP is a versatile material and we enhance it's mechanical & thermal properties by doing compounding ie adding additives, fillers & compounds.

Applications: Automotive Interiors, Exterior & Under the bonnet, Packaging, Medical Devices, Chemical Processing, and various other applications eg Battery cases, Storage containers, Laboratory equipment, Appliances etc.

PA6 Compounds

Polyamide 6 (Also known as Nylon 6) – A Semi crystalline thermosplastic material. It has a very good thermal resistance to aging at high temperature, good electrical insulation properties, resistant to many oils, greases & fuels but less resistant to acids, bases & oxidizing reagents. Nylon 6 also has low coefficient of friction and good wear properties.

Applications: Automotive, Electrical and Electronics, Textile Industry, and various other applications eg Gears, bearings & fittings, Electrical connectors, Power tool housings, Fuel tan and kitchen utensils.

PA66 Compounds

- Polyamide 66 (Nylon 66) – PA66 is known for its strength, ductility & heat resistance making it popular material for metal replacement applications. It has good wear resistance, high tensile strength & modulus of elasticity, High impact resistance, HDT, Good Electrical insulating characters tics, good dimensional stability and can be reinforced with glass & carbon fibres.

Applications: Textile, Automotive, Electrical and Electronics, Bearings, and various other applications eg Cable Ties, Connectors, Gears, Wheels, Bushing & Bearings, Clutch parts, Cams, Rollers, Slide bearings, Seal rings, Guide rails etc…

MPPE

mPPE is a thermoplastic material often used as an alloy compound. It is often created by blending polyphenylene ether (PPE) with other resing eg PS & PA. It has good dimensional stability & excellent Dielectrical properties allowing for thinner wall designs and lower overall weight.

Applications: Pumps, Automotive, and Electrical & Electronic applications. Reinforcements: Glass Filled

ABS

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a durable, impact-resistant thermoplastic widely used in automotive, electronics, and consumer goods. It offers excellent strength, flexibility, and heat resistance, making it ideal for various industrial applications.

Applications: Automotive, Home Appliances, Electrical & Electronic applications.

SAN

SAN (Styrene Acrylonitrile) is a copolymer known for its high rigidity, optical clarity, and excellent chemical resistance. It also offers enhanced thermal stability and dimensional stability for precise applications.

Applications: Stationery and Home Appliances.

PC-ABS

PC-ABS (Polycarbonate/Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a high-performance thermoplastic blend that combines the strength and heat resistance of polycarbonate with the flexibility and impact resistance of ABS. This unique combination offers excellent mechanical properties, superior toughness, and thermal stability, making it ideal for demanding applications requiring durability and precision.

Applications: Automotive, Electrical, and Medical applications.

PPS

PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic known for its exceptional chemical resistance, thermal stability, and mechanical strength. It offers excellent dimensional stability, low moisture absorption, and inherent flame retardancy, making it ideal for applications in high-heat and chemically demanding environments.

Applications: Electrical & Electronics, Industrial applications, and Appliances.

PPA

PPA (Polyphthalamide) is a high-performance, semi-aromatic polyamide known for its superior thermal resistance, mechanical strength, and chemical resistance. It offers excellent dimensional stability, low moisture absorption, and enhanced durability, making it ideal for demanding applications in high-temperature and high-stress environments.

Applications: Automotive, LED Packaging, Electronic Components, and Plumbing.

TPE and TPV

Thermoplastic Elastomers and Thermoplastic Vulcanizates - Versatile materials that combine the flexibility of rubber with the processability of plastics. TPEs offer excellent elasticity, durability, and weather resistance, making them ideal for soft-touch applications.

TPVs, a specialized subset of TPEs, feature chemically crosslinked rubber particles within a thermoplastic matrix, providing enhanced heat, oil, and fatigue resistance for demanding environments.

HIPS

HIPS – High Impact Polystyrene – Derived from polymerization of Styrene Monomer, It is rigid& impact resistance, HIPS offer excellent impact resistance making it suitable for the applications that required durability & toughness. Very easy to process using various techniques eg Injection, Thermoforming & Extrusion.. Its low melting point& good flow properties make it easy to mold into complex shapes & sizes. It is resistance to chemical, Oils & greeses.

GPPS

GPPS - General Purpose Polystyrene – GPPS is known for its transparency that make it ideal for application where clarity is crucial. It is a brittle material, meaning it is prone to cracking or shattering under stress. An excellent resistance to X-Ray. GPPS is free from odor & taste that makes it suitable for food contact applications.

Applications: Packaging, Food containers, household goods, and disposable products

PMMA

PMMA - Polymethylmethacrylate (Popularly known as Acrylic) – Transparent & rigid thermoplastic, It shows high resistance to UV light & weathering & excellent Light transmission & Unlimited colouring options. It’s a cost-effective alternative to Polycarbonate.

Applications: Automotive Lighting & Medical Devices

POM -

POM - Polyoxymethylene (Also known as Acetal) – A high performance Engineering thermoplastic known for its strength, rigidity, low friction & dimensional stability. POM offers excellent wear resistance making it suitable for application involving repeated motion & stress. POM also exhibits good resistance to many chemicals & solvents.

Applications: Precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability eg Gears, Bearings, Bushings, Zipper, Buckles, Handles, Knobs, fasteners & parts of coffee Machine & washing machine. POM is considered Food – safe polymer& that is why it is being used in the parts that come into contact with food.
